The Opel Manta GSe ElektroMOD is reminiscent of the legendary Opel Manta from 1970 and at the same time gives new impetus to the growing phenomenon of "restomods" - a current development among automobile fans and collectors in which icons such as the Manta combine original and new technologies and design.
The Opel Manta GSe inspired us to create an Apple Watch strap that represents pure zeitgeist. A timeless piece of the past, transformed into a sustainable vision of the future.
With the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, we have upcycled 125 Apple Watch straps from original Manta seats. In addition, the project underlines Opel's anniversary and its commitment to always striving forward.

The material for this special edition comes from the Manta A GSE (built in 1970), which was converted by Opel in 2021 into the iconic "Manta GSE Elektromod" concept car. Opel has kept this seat for years to bring it back to life in a new product. It is a great honor for us to be the partner for such an extraordinary project.
This special edition is one of our most remarkable. Firstly, the vinyl leather from the Manta in the GSE version is specially processed and has a unique perforation. In addition, the material of the seat has a history that is unique and will only be available in the form of our band.
That's why this time we paid attention to every little detail, like the Manta thorn, which was specially made for this edition.
