Stainless Steel Link Bracelets
Inspired by the Swiss watch industry and manufactured according to their standards, the link bracelets from BandWerk meet the highest quality standards.
Consistency. There is hardly a word that describes the Swiss watch industry better. The most popular model from the Geneva-based watch manufacturer Patek Philippe, for example, the Nautilus, has hardly changed since the 1970s. The iconic watch design is timeless, not least because of its unusual case shape, which is perfectly reflected in the sporty metal bracelet.
The Apple Watch, on the other hand, is best known for its diversity and incomparable wealth of variations. No other watch has such a wide range of bands, watch faces and cases.
At BandWerk, we have gathered a lot of expertise in the field of Apple Watch straps over the past six years. BandWerk leather straps are not only characterized by their love of leather craftsmanship, but also by their perfect symbiosis with the watch case.
Combining elaborate craftsmanship and modern technology has been the basic idea of our company from the start. With our latest development we would like to go one step further and combine the incomparable savoir-faire, the claim to perfection and the timeless elegance of the luxury watch industry with the Apple Watch.
The greatest design challenge was to create a bracelet that not only can be mechanically integrated into the Apple Watch case, but above all also harmonizes perfectly with it aesthetically.
The intermediate links of our new metal link bracelet models are reminiscent of the design language of the side and unlocking buttons of the Apple Watch, the integrated end links, which also contain the adapter mechanism, fit uncompromisingly into the overall concept.
The Butterfly Folding-Clasp
The Butterfly Folding-Clasp
There's no other component that does more for the overall impression and the reliability of a band than its clasp. Nobody is more aware of the crucial importance of this part of the bracelet than the specialists at the German metal factory Craiss, where this expertise has been passed on for over 100 years.
The double folding clasp developed together with the Craiss company fits perfectly into the overall look of our link bracelets and ensures a guaranteed secure hold on the wrist.
The development of the band design took over six months. Every link, screw and edge was discussed and weighed with great attention to detail. The result is a balanced and harmonious metal bracelet that hugs your wrist like no other.
Intransigency means sparing no effort or expense in order to achieve a perfect result. For us this means - as with most of our other products - having the complete production process in Germany. From the raw material to the finished link bracelet.
Each of the 112 components of the band is milled in a process lasting several hours with an accuracy of 0.01 mm and then satin-finished and polished by the hands of specialists.
Finally, the links are combined with 64 specially made screws to form a perfectly shaped end product, which can then be flawlessly adapted to the wearer's wrist in just a few simple steps.
You will soon find more media illustrations and details about the exact production processes here.
The careful selection of materials is an essential part of a high-quality band so that the finished product can not only easily cope with all the influences of everyday life, but also prove its functionality under extreme conditions.
Stainless Steel 316L
316L Stainless Steel
The material known as surgical steel 1.4404, which is also traded under the name stainless steel 316L, is perfect as a raw material for our purposes.
Because of its high corrosion resistance and its special hardness, the material 316L is not only highly valued in the medical field, but also in the chemical industry.
In the form of a watch band, this material can easily be used with salt water and is relatively resistant to scratches. The latter can also be easily polished out so that you can always restore your link bracelet to new condition even after years.
Give your watch a unique character and choose a watch band that combines comfort with elegance. Discover now the model G1-S with a naturally silver stainless steel color and the model G1-A with an elaborate DLC coating in a classy anthracite finish.
